Lisa Joplin is a dedicated entrepreneur and a leader in the loc community, known for her expertise and passion for Sisterlocks™️. As a licensed cosmetologist, Lisa holds several prestigious titles, including Sisterlocks™️ educator, mid-course "R" certified consultant, and Sisterlocks™️ brand ambassador. Her journey with Sisterlocks™️ began in 2009 when she decided to transition from tiny tight braids to a more natural look, inspired by the beauty and versatility of her own hair.

Lisa’s discovery of Sisterlocks™️ was life-changing, not just for her but also for her daughter, Elise, who had her hair established at the age of eight. What began as a personal journey quickly turned into a lifelong passion. After a 25-year career as a Milwaukee police officer, Lisa retired in 2018 to fully dedicate herself to the art and lifestyle of Sisterlocks™️, a decision that has profoundly shaped her life and career.

Since 2011, Lisa has been creating high-end, unique, and innovative styles that celebrate the beauty of Afro-textured hair.
